Southern Cameroons to declare "Holy War"
BaretaNews can now confirm that despite contrary information published by some newspapers, the head of three Churches (Presbyterian moderator, Catholic Bishops, Baptist Executive Chairman) in Southern Cameroons have been dragged to court in a criminal law suit by La Republique. Barrister Achu Julius in Douala who has been rubbishing our struggle on radio and TV is the government lawyer. The date for the first hearing is still to be confirmed.
Let me just be clear. The church has stood all these while for Southern Cameroonians and no way shall we let them down. Christains from these denominations and others must rise up now, not only in prayers but in action. BaretaNews shall update this platform on this issue.
The action of La Republique on our church leaders is tantamount in declaring a holy war. Christains have never backed down. We would fight. Please everyone should text and call home about this new information. Our people in Southern Cameroons should be aware. ENOUGH.
It is my understanding that the leadership of Consortium is aware of this development. The people need an official communication so that we swift into real time action.
